Range and battery

This is the biggest difference. The Xiaomi 4's 275.4Wh battery gives a claimed 35km, about 75% more than the F20A and F25's 20km. If your round trip is over 15km, that extra margin means you're not charging every night.

Power and hills

The Xiaomi's 600W peak output helps it climb approx. 16% gradients, compared with 10% (F20A) and 12% (F25). Riders in hilly suburbs will notice the difference.

Ride comfort

All three use 10-inch tyres. The Xiaomi's tubeless tyres are air-filled for a softer ride. Ninebot's F-series uses 10-inch anti-puncture tyres.

Weight and portability

There's only 0.3kg between them. All three fold for carrying on public transport or storing in a car boot.

Weather resistance

Ninebot's IPX5 rating is a step above Xiaomi's IP54 for water spray. Neither should be ridden through deep puddles or heavy rain.
