Collection: Off-Road Scooters
Off-road electric scooters are built for gravel tracks, grass, dirt paths and rough suburban streets. Look for stronger motors, bigger tyres, disc brakes and a battery with plenty of range to spare.
What makes a good off-road scooter?
- Motor: 500W+ for gravel and gentle hills; dual motors for steep or loose trails.
- Tyres: 10 inches or larger, pneumatic or wide, for grip and comfort.
- Brakes: front and rear disc brakes for confident downhill stopping.
- Range: rough ground uses more battery — choose double the range you plan to ride.
- Weight: powerful scooters weigh 20–35kg. Make sure you can lift it into your car.

FAQ
Can I ride an off-road scooter on the road?
Only within your state's rules, which cap e-scooters at 25km/h in public. Queensland now requires devices ridden in public to be unable to exceed 25km/h. Higher "private property" speeds are for private land only. Check our state-by-state laws guide.
Are dual-motor scooters worth it?
For steep hills, loose gravel or riders over 90kg, yes. On flat paths a single motor is lighter and cheaper.
